NCBC, STILL COMMITED TO HER MISSION AND GOALS THIS NEW ACADEMIC SESSION

The Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) for the past 70 years has been able to produce many teachers, missionaries and preachers of the gospel of Christ. In keeping with the philosophy of the founding fathers, NCBC has remained for the exclusive task of developing and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. This new academic session 2024/2025, we are still committed to:

  • Producing Servant Leaders, academically qualified persons, individuals properly equipped for effective ministry, consequently becoming effective global Christians who will be able to adapt to new cultures without compromising their beliefs.
  • Our Diploma in Theology and Degree programmes: The ministerial programme (Diploma in Theology) is the traditional programme of the College which equips men and women for Christian service particularly in the areas of church planting, growth and nurturing. It exists primarily to prepare men to become teachers, preachers and missionaries well groomed in “character and learning’. Our Bachelor’s Degrees in Education/Christian Religious Studies (B.A.Ed.) and Religious Studies (BA) in affiliation with the University of Calabar, help our students in acquiring skills, training in the fields of Education and religious studies which will enable them to develop teaching and evangelical skills and also make them useful members of the community. We have kick-started the year with a productive and inspiring faculty conference towards enhancing academic excellence and empowerment of our students.
  • Vocational training: Through NCBC’s pig and fish farms, our students acquire skills in pig and fish farming. This year students’ groupings and tutoring have been readjusted to facilitate effective learning. Tent making ministry would continue to be our watchword, developing and inculcating, in our products, proper values or orientation for survival where ever they go.
  • Evangelism: Through our weekend and monthly evangelism programmes and outreach, we hope to have a harvest of souls, restorations and numerous congregations planted.
  • Preachers’/church leaders’ seminar and lectureship: These are week-long events blessed with unique themes and keynotes always handled by seasoned speakers. God is always glorified in the number of baptisms.

Having started the 2024/2025 academic year on a good footing with a special faculty conference, 121 enrolments (with degree and study centre admissions still on-going) God is with us. May God continue to bless His work and our efforts in Christ’s dear name, Amen.
