The students of the Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom embarked on a two week internship, from June 17th through 2nd July, 2023.
They worked in twenty congregations in six different states of the federation including Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Abia, Anambra, Rivers and Imo State. They carried the Gospel to the jungles, remote villages and urban areas. The students participated in several activities of the Church, teaching during the Sunday schools, Bible classes, women and children classes and seminars. They also engaged in intensive house to house preaching and open air services. God blessed their efforts with twelve (12) baptisms including a notorious cultist who repented and was added to the church. The congregations provided enabling environments for the students to carry out their work.
We have received good reports from the congregations which were glad to receive and worked with our students. The congregations testified of good academic as well as moral and spiritual standing of the students.
These report are so encouraging to the college as we look forward to doing even more to the glory of God and the growth of His kingdom.
