OGBAOYIBO, SAMSON OGHENERO: A TRUE REFLECTION OF NCBC’S SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE, SERVANT LEADERSHIP, AND GLOBAL IMPACT

Every educational institution has a few names that stay engraved in its story — these are people who not only pass and grow through the institution but also give back to it in lasting ways. At NCBC, one such individual is Ogbaoyibo, Samson Oghenero — a remarkable embodiment of servant leadership, academic excellence, lifelong commitment to growth, and the spirit of global Christianity. From the humble town of Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, he emerges a shining beacon of excellence. His story is one of faith, resilience, and vision, making him one of the finest success stories of the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC).

In 2020, Samson enrolled in the ministerial programme of NCBC, where his diligence, discipline, and quest for excellence quickly set him apart. As a student, he was also good in the area of evangelism as well as entrepreneurship. His outstanding performance crowned him the Best Graduating Student of his class-a testimony to both spiritual devotion and intellectual brilliance.

Recognizing his rare potential, NCBC retained him as its ICT Officer. It was in this role that Samson’s passion for technology flourished. NCBC had for a long period of time, longed to have a good and working website, that can help the college, staff and students as well in our quest to producing Global Christians, but had not succeeded until Samson manned the NCBC ICT. Trained as a software engineer, he went on to design and develop the official NCBC website- ncbc.edu.ng-a digital innovation that now projects the institution to the world with accessibility and pride.

Unwilling to stop there, Samson continues to chart new paths. He is currently pursuing studies in Cybersecurity alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, seamlessly merging ministry with modern technology. His remarkable journey reflects NCBC’s vision of raising leaders who impact the world through knowledge, innovation, and unwavering devotion to God.
