HARVEST OF SOULS AT OBASA AND KAJOLA
WNCC faculty and students engage in an open-air community outreach within our community monthly to assist congregations with evangelism. We do this so that the congregations would have a wider outreach of their evangelistic activity and reach out to their prospects.
The churches of Christ at Kajola and Obasa are both dear congregations to the College because they are ministry extensions of the College. The church of Christ at Kajola, as old as the College, was established through the ministry of the College and since then, there has been a symbiotic relationship between the College and the congregation. We engaged in a two-day open-air evangelism outreach at Kajola that led to the harvest of one soul for the Lord from the community. The outreach which was attended by the faculty and students of the College, congregants from Kajola, and members from surrounding congregations. We handed the soul to the congregation to assist in making that soul a disciple.
The church of Christ Obasa is also a congregation that is an extension of the ministry of the College. The open-air outreach which was held by the College was aimed at assisting the congregation reach out to the loss within her community. The outreach was well attended by the congregants of Obasa, staff, and faculty of the college, and members of the community of Obasa. A harvest of one soul was recorded. The soul has been committed to the local congregation to assist him be a disciple that bears fruit.
We thank God for the ministry of evangelism that the College engages in at the congregational level. We pray for the new converts that they bear fruit and their fruit remains until the coming of our Lord.
