FORMED AT NCBC, BEARING FRUIT IN UKPOM: THE MINISTRY OF MIN. ANIETIE S. NKANTA
True ministry seldom begins with public recognition or visible applause. It is first forged in private moments-through prayerful dependence, disciplined study, and unwavering obedience to God’s call. Long before a minister stands before a congregation, character is refined and conviction is tested. This pattern is clearly reflected in the journey of Min. Anietie S. Nkanta, a graduate of the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC), whose ministry exemplifies the fruit of intentional preparation and sincere devotion.
Min. Nkanta hails from Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. His time at NCBC was marked by rigorous biblical training, spiritual formation, and a growing sense of responsibility toward faithful gospel service. These formative years laid a strong foundation, equipping him not only with sound doctrine but also with the discipline and humility required for effective ministry.
Today, those lessons find practical expression in his work at the Church of Christ No. 1, Ukpom, known as one of the premier congregations of the Lord’s vineyard in Nigeria. Serving with consistency and dedication, Min. Nkanta has earned a reputation for clear biblical teaching and an approachable pastoral presence. His ministry is not confined to the pulpit; it extends to personal engagement, encouragement, and intentional follow-up with members of the congregation.
This faithful approach recently yielded visible fruit during the first Sunday worship of 2026, as baptisms were recorded at the church. These moments were more than ceremonial milestones—they represented lives responding in obedience to the gospel and affirmed the quiet effectiveness of patient, Christ-centered ministry.
From Ukanafun to Ukpom, the journey of Min. Anietie S. Nkanta stands as a compelling reminder that when sound theological training is joined with a genuine love for people, ministry becomes enduring, impactful, and deeply transformative.
