QUALIFIED ACADEMIC STAFF FOR N.C.B.C PROGRAMMES
The Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom is blessed with a spectrum of qualified academic staff. The college which was initially offering a Diploma, has now grown to add two more programmes which are: Bachelor of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies. It is also worthy to note that the college now has a distance learning center at Itigidi, Abi L.G.A, Cross River State, Nigeria.
The Nigerian Christian Bible College can boast of a robust academic staff profile with well-versed experienced and specialized personnel in relevant education and Religious Studies. The college has qualified scholars in the fields of Old Testament Studies, New Testament Studies, Philosophy of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Ethics, Christian Ministry, Christian Theology, African Traditional religion, among others. We have been blessed with Education Majors handling education related courses, we have full time qualified Bible teachers for Hebrew and Greek thereby, making our products better Bible Interpreters, Teachers and Scholars.
Beginning from this academic session, Jonathan Oraduen Tarter, B.A. (UNIJOS), PGDE M.A (NOUN), a renowned Bible Scholar will join the academic staff of N.C.B.C, Silas Guda, Mishi BA (SBS) UNIJOS, MA (University of Ibadan), majoring in Old Testament Studies was employed last year.
The college has also hired two senior part time lecturers from the University of Calabar, Associate Prof. Timothy Alexander and Dr. Sanda F. Ademola to handle English and Educational Courses.
It is our hope that with these qualified and balanced academic background N.C.B.C can produce efficient ministers, Church leaders and Bible Teachers for the growing congregations and schools in Nigeria and beyond.
