2026 STUDENT INTERNSHIP: THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
The Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to training men and women for effective Christian ministry through its annual internship program. On July 4, 2026, students were deployed to 22 congregations across different parts of Nigeria, where they are actively engaged in evangelism, teaching, discipleship, and congregational service. The internship will conclude on August 4, 2026, providing a month of practical ministry experience that complements classroom instruction.
The internship has already begun to produce encouraging results. At the Church of Christ, Ogoja 2, our students have recorded 14 baptisms, a remarkable testimony to the power of the gospel when prepared servants are sent into the field. Also, at the Church of Christ, Nkwot Edem Edet, Ikono, 1 baptism has been recorded thus far. These reports are only the beginning, and they strengthen our confidence that more fruitful results will come before the internship ends.
Beyond the numbers, the exercise is shaping students through preaching, teaching, visitation, evangelism, congregational support, and daily interaction with members and communities. It gives them the opportunity to translate classroom learning into real ministry practice while also blessing the congregations where they serve.
NCBC remains committed to preparing workers who can rightly handle the word of truth and serve faithfully in different contexts. We appreciate the host congregations, supervising ministers, members, and supporters who are helping our students grow in knowledge, character, and service.
This is the spirit of Christian education in action. As the internship continues, we pray for open doors, receptive hearts, stronger congregations, and more souls added to the Lord’s church to the glory of God. We are still steadfast in our mission of training men and women for effective ministry, preparing faithful laborers who will continue to proclaim Christ to the world.
