NCBC: REKINDLING THE FLAME, RENEWING THE VISION

The Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) has officially resumed the 2026/2027 academic
session, marking a renewed season of learning, spiritual growth, Christian fellowship, and
preparation for effective Christian service. Guided by the vision of the African Christian Schools
Foundation (ACSF), the College remains committed to providing Christ-centered, quality
education that promotes holistic development – spiritually, intellectually, morally, and
physically – equipping students with the knowledge, character, faith, and practical skills
needed for meaningful service to God and humanity.

The new academic session begins with renewed vision, greater opportunities, and a stronger
commitment to raising spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and practically skilled
Christian leaders. This marks another significant step in the College’s mission to nurture faith,
build character, and prepare students for meaningful service to God and humanity. One of the
most exciting developments is the establishment of a new Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) facility, alongside the introduction of practical entrepreneurial and digital
skills training in areas such as coding, web development, and graphic design. This remarkable
improvement reflects NCBC’s determination to combine sound biblical education with relevant
21st-century skills, empowering students to become more creative, self-reliant, and effective in
both ministry and society.

These newly introduced entrepreneurship courses – coding, web development, graphic
design/digital media and Microsoft office and digital productivity – are designed to give
students practical, marketable skills so that, upon graduation, they can apply what they have
learned to create livelihood opportunities, support themselves and serve the church and their
communities more effectively. For students in Ministerial training, these skills are especially
valuable. Ministry today is not limited to the classroom or pulpit. The ability to use technology,
create digital content, design graphics, develop websites and communicate through digital
platforms can help students serve more effectively and reach more people. This important
development has been made possible through the support of ACSF. We are deeply grateful for
their contribution and for investing in something that will continue to benefit students and
strengthen practical learning at NCBC.

As lectures continue, NCBC is not simply returning to routine. The College is moving forward
with renewed purpose. Students are learning, growing, serving and preparing for the work ahead.
For new students, this is the beginning of a new journey. For returning students, it is another
opportunity to grow deeper in knowledge, character and faith. At NCBC, education is more than
earning certificates. It is about preparing lives for service, strengthening faith and equipping men
and women to make a meaningful difference in their generation. NCBC is flaring up-with
purpose, passion and a renewed commitment to its mission.
