TWO EX- NCBC STUDENTS HAVE MADE THEIR ALMA- MATER PROUD

Sunday, December 21, 2025, is a day that will hardly be deleted from the minds and memories of many Christians in Akwa Ibom State and those from other parts of Nigeria who were privileged to attend an epoch-making “Send- off Ceremony” organised by Township Church of Christ, No.18 Ebom Avenue, Abak, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.

The ceremony was at the centre of two proud graduates of Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom, Abak. One of them is Utibe George Ibanga, who is the current Minister of Township Church of Christ, Ebom Avenue and has served with the congregation for about six years now (from  2020 till 2026), still counting. He is also one of the Lecturers in his alma mater (NCBC). The second person is Nseobong Bassey Daniel, who had served the same congregation for about nine years (from 2009 to 2018). In this case, Utibe Ibanga is the successor while Nseobong Daniel is the predecessor.

It is quite essential to recall that Utibe Ibanga graduated from NCBC about 25 years ago, precisely in the year 2000, while Nseobong Daniel graduated in 2002. The duo have been so friendly and supportive of each other from their years of their academic sojourn in NCBC till now. Besides, they have been very good ambassadors of NCBC for both of them have served in the Lord’s church excellently in different capacities.  This has made the NCBC family so proud of them.

Given the landslide achievements recorded in Ebom Avenue congregation during the time Nseobong Daniel was serving as a Minister, especially conversion of over 80 souls into the church, his successor, Utibe Ibanga, deemed it quite necessary to prompt the Ebom Avenue congregation and also planned, facilitated and hosted a Send- off Ceremony in his honour.

The event was so unique, as over 600 brethren from different parts of the state and neighbouring states were in attendance. Many gift items were poured on Bro. Nseobong Daniel and his family members,  including the sum of one million naira. This was done in appreciation of the hard-work and selfless services he had carried out while serving with the congregation. In the end, he prayed for the host congregation and his successor, Utibe Ibanga.

May God continue to bless NCBC and her products scattered across the globe in various vineyards of the Lord.
