GREAT EVENTS AT N.C.B.C

Great Events and Harvest of Souls at NCBC’S 71ST Annual Bible Lectureship

The 2025 Annual Lectureship held from August 12-15, 2025 was a great and memorable event which drew over seven thousand brethren from different states of Nigeria and abroad to the campus of Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom.

It was a great time of fellowship, reunion, Bible study, Physical and Spiritual reawakening.

The theme was Church Edification. Eminent Bible scholars and Ministers from USA and Nigeria were selected to handle various topics around the theme.

Six American brethren who spoke at the lectureship were Mike Cochrane and Rita Cochrane, Chad and Rena Wagner, Archer Honea and Cliff Jarrell and the Provost, Joe N. Obinna welcome the mammoth crowd to the Lectureship.

One of the greatest success recorded was the number of 129 baptisms. This number of baptisms is not achievable in many congregations in three years.

Funds was raised for the completion of the male hostel which has been recently roofed.

Another major highlight was the commissioning of two important projects. The Willie Cato remodeled Library which was done by Rita and Mike Cochrane while Chad commissioned the Bathouse courtesy of Rita and Mike Cochrane.

The Lectureship was climaxed with convocation of Ministerial Students and conferment of awards of excellence in the following areas (i) Academics (ii) Leadership (iii) Evangelism (iv) Improvement (v) Self-discipline and Obong awan Veronica Ntuk Obom’s Award for the best graduating student.

Twenty seven (27) students graduated and received Diploma in Theology.

We give all the glory to God for the success of the 2025 Lectureship, the clement weather, there was no rain throughout the duration of the lectureship, the massive attendance, qualitative lectures, great number of baptisms, and talent display by the youths from various congregations and football competition.

We believe churches of Christ and the entire brotherhood were edified.
