Spiritual Rejuvenation and Soul Winning at WNCC’s 25th Annual Bible Lectureship
The 2025 Annual Lectureship, held from August 5–8, 2025, was a truly memorable and spiritually uplifting event. Centered on the theme “Visions of Victory: Studies in the Book of Revelation”, the program brought together over six hundred brethren from near and far for a time of worship, study, fellowship, and celebration of kingdom service.
One of the greatest highlights was the record number of 13 baptisms, a testament to God’s power working through His word and His people. These precious souls have been added to the Lord’s church, and we rejoice with heaven over their decision to follow Christ.
A Distinguished Christian Servant Award was presented to Sister Fanny Blessing Ehiabor in recognition of her long-standing dedication to giving towards the work of the kingdom and her unwavering commitment to kingdom expansion. Her life of generosity and faithful service continues to inspire the brethren.
Another major highlight was the book launch of The New Testament Church, authored by Evangelist Akinwale Paul. The launch was well attended, and significant support was raised to honor and assist Evangelist Paul for his remarkable service of over fifty years in the Lord’s kingdom. The event was not only a celebration of scholarship and ministry but also a moment of deep gratitude for a servant who has labored faithfully for decades.
The lectureship also included moments of wholesome fellowship and talent recognition. The football competition awards brought excitement and camaraderie among brethren, while the acapella awards ceremony celebrated the gift of spiritual songs and musical excellence in glorifying God.
We give God all the glory for the success of the 2025 Lectureship, for the unity shared, the lessons learned, the talents displayed, and most of all, for the lives transformed. Truly, the visions of victory from the Book of Revelation came alive in our midst.
